When a Zombie Contagion infects Earth-2149, the first wave of casualties is the Avengers as they investigate the first zombie, resulting in the newly zombified super-heroes eating the human population. They're still the same heroes, with the same personalities and powers, but now they're driven by an insatiable desire for human flesh.
